Holy Spirit School Extended Care: (510) 791-6318
Nicole Rogers, Extended Care Director
Holy Spirit School Extended Day Care program offers quality care for all students registered at Holy Spirit School. Our goal is to have our program be an extended family for each child. The after school program meets the fundamental needs for growth and development of each child in a safe, nurturing environment.
We present a variety of activities, a nutritious snack, study time and quiet, relaxing time. The Extended Day Care program operates on school days only. Minimum days are considered school days.
Program Hours
Before School 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
After School 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. / Minimum Days 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Snacks and Lunches
Students will be given a snack each day, and students are welcome to bring additional snacks for themselves. Minimum day lunches need to be purchased through the school lunch provider or a bag lunch be brought from home.
Clothing
Play clothes are permissible and encouraged. Your children will be more comfortable if they do not have to worry about getting their school clothes dirty. For your children's safety, we do not allow sandals, which are not suitable for outdoor recreational play. Free dress code applies.
All children will have the opportunity to work on homework and/or study during Extended Care. The staff will always be available to assist or answer any questions, however they will NOT be responsible for ensuring that every child gets their work done. That is the responsibility of the student. If a student is having problems with getting homework done, please notify a staff member and we will assist in anyway possible.
