Special Programs
Student Council
Students in seventh and eighth grades are elected to serve as the "core." There are also two class representatives from grades 4 through 8 that complete the Student Council. Student Council leaders work throughout the year to promote school spirit and community service, through the Value of the Month and by organizing donation drives.

Holy Spirit CYO Sports
The Holy Spirit CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) program aims to minister to the holistic growth of our children through sports education and participation. If you are interested in our program, log on to www.holyspiritcyo.com. Contact any of our CYO Board Members for more information.
Spanish Class
Spanish classes are now integrated into the curriculum for all grades, with two classes per week during the school day. Grades K-4 receive 2 classes of 30 minutes each on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while grades 5-8 have 45 minute classes. Senora Garcia from IES is our Spanish teacher.
Filipino Culture Class

FAME (Fine Arts Mini Experience)
What is FAME? FAME is a fine arts program and it stands for Fine Arts Mini Experience. FAME introduces art and music elements to the Kindergarten through 8th grade students. To learn more, click here.
Junior Vincentians
Eighth graders act as Junior Vincentians and, along with adult Vincentians, serve the homeless and needy people who are looking for food, money, and lodging. A St. Vincent dePaul pantry is stocked with food to provide for the needy.
Peer Tutoring
On Thursdays after school, the eighth graders meet with lower grade students to tutor in reading and math. This one-on-one time allows the lower grade students time to practice their skills and, for the eighth graders, to be great role models towards forming life-long learners.
Choir
The Holy Spirit Church Children's Choir meets Mondays after school to prepare to sing at monthly Masses. Contact Kerey Quaid for more information.
